| hanger-on-ers should really get together and pick a story BEFORE they go around talking to media types firing off stories willy-nilly completely uncoordinated. This is begining to look like an episode of COPS where a bag of weed or crack turns up in a car and there are more alternative explanations for it than there are occupants of the car. So far this car has had a power steering failure deduced from a power steering fluid trail "found" in the road, it was "stalling out" and the two guys left the show to troubleshoot it (that's how I troubleshoot too!), and they apparently were only going 45mph thru a 15mph corner. I'm sure more is yet to come and I am forgetting at least one more that I have read concerning this fascinatingly ironic death. Watch the video of the Stig driving the car, of Clarkson driving the car, and look at the road they were on and the state the car ended up in pluswhere it came to a final rest and you tell me what you think caused the accident here. I have seen one account of a "witness" who claimed there was a second car and the two were racing. But apparently NBC news is satisfied with "45mph in a 15mph corner". SMH
